every organizations donor management philosophy guides its implementation and targets.   for example, "if you build it they will come" might be true in a baseball movie, however that dog will not hunt in fundraising.  and long gone are the days when an emaciated face and a bloated stomach are the motivation for a campaign.  modern donors are personally plugged in, globally aware, and shrewd philanthropists.  we believe donor relations is more accurately "the marriage of excellencies".  it's "threaded bliss" in contrast to the popular idea of "we have financial need which donors should meet."  if you'd like to learn more, we'd love to share our thoughts.
